Afifat Khanam Ritika joined in Bangladesh Institute of Maritime Research and Development (BIMRAD) on November, 2019. Before joining in BIMRAD she worked in WorldFish, Dhaka, Bangladesh and South Asia Office. She completed her Hons. and Master degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh. She was the student from the Faculty of Fisheries. She has been awarded President Gold Medal Award because of her excellent academic result. Presently she is pursuing her PhD.

 

 

She has the experience of working in few projects on “Bay of Bengal and Marine Fisheries.” She is regularly publishing Journal Articles and op-ed in the national and international journals and Daily Newspapers regarding contemporary issues on “Marine Fisheries, Climate Change and Environmental Pollution”. She is participating in different training, workshops, seminars and webinars as a speaker or guest both nationally and internationally and contributing in the Blue sector.
