Shahriar Khosnoor Prince, a dedicated professional in oceanography and sustainable development, embarked on his journey at the Bangladesh Institute of Maritime Research and Development (BIMRAD) in April 2024. Prior to his role at BIMRAD, he refined his skills at the University of Dhaka, where he earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Oceanography. His outstanding academic performance was recognized with the prestigious Dean's Award from the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Throughout his academic career, he has delved into various facets of oceanography, including physical, chemical, and geological aspects, as well as marine spatial planning. He has actively contributed to projects aimed at understanding ocean dynamics and conserving marine ecosystems, demonstrating a keen interest in sustainable practices. He is deeply committed to leveraging his expertise to drive positive change in Bangladesh's blue economy sectors, working tirelessly towards the sustainable development of marine resources for the country's prosperity and well-being.
