An inaugural session of 3-daylong Training of the Trainers (ToT) on 'Local Level Strategy of Reducing Climate induced Loss and Damage of Seagoing Traditional Fishers of Bangladesh' has been organized at CSS Ava Center Khulna on 10 March 2022. Honourable Mayor of Khulna City Corporation Mr Talukder Abdul Khaleque was the Chief Guest of the session. Captain M Shafiqul Alam, Chief trainer; Afifat Khanam Ritika, Research Officer, BIMRAD; Md. Ali Akbar, Panel Mayor-2 and Councilor, ward no-25, were the special guests. A good number of officials and representatives from different GOs, NGOs and stakeholders took part in the session. They unveiled a Training module jointly developed by BIMRAD and AOSED for the seagoing fisher during the inaugural session. Mr Shamim Arfeen, Executive Director of AOSED, moderated the inaugural session.
 

The BIMRAD officials conducted the 3-daylong ToT. Total 22 participants from AOSED attended the ToT session, who will train up the seagoing fishers in reducing climate-induced loss and damage of Bangladesh. The train session ended up with a notable closing session.
