Director General of BIMRAD, met with Dr. David Brewster, Senior Research Fellow at Australia's National Security College, on 03 October 2024, to explore future collaboration on maritime security research. The meeting, held at Hotel Lake Castle, was also attended by Dr. Lailufar Yasmin, Professor of International Relations at Dhaka University. They discussed potential joint research projects focused on maritime security in the region, aiming to strengthen cooperation between BIMRAD and international partners, particularly ANU and NSC.
