DG BIMRAD called on H.E. Alexander Vikentyevich MANTYTSKIY, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Bangladesh. The meeting focused on several key issues, including the Russian contribution to Bangladesh’s independence and gradual development, as well as the intellectual and technological scope for collaboration between the two friendly nations, particularly in the maritime domain. As a unique maritime think tank in Bangladesh, BIMRAD can play a significant role in this collaboration. Both the DG and His Excellency noted that BIMRAD and various maritime think tanks in the Russian Federation can work together on numerous issues, including the Blue Economy, maritime scientific affairs, and the strengthening of maritime capabilities, with an emphasis on enhancing scientific research on various maritime issues.
