Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) organized a hybrid seminar on ‘Look Africa: Exploring New Horizons for Bangladesh’ on 13th November 2022. Ambassador Masud Bin Momen, Foreign Secretary (Senior Secretary), Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The inaugural seminar was kicked off with the welcome speech of the Director General of BIISS, Major General Sheikh Pasha Habib Uddin, OSP, SGP, BAMS, afwc, psc. It was followed by the speech of the Keynote Speaker, Ambassador Mashfee Binte Shams, who outlined the current status of the diplomatic ties with the African nations. Afterward, the Chief Guest delivered his remarks. The Chairman of BIISS, Ambassador Kazi Imtiaz Hossain chaired the introductory session. Following this session, a working session chaired by Dr. Binayak Sen, Director General, BIDS, was organized. A panel of four distinguished researchers presented their research findings. It was followed by a vibrant Q&A session featuring questions and comments. Mr. Nur Ahmed, Research Officer, represented BIMRAD in this distinguished program.
