Center for Peace Studies (CPS), South Asian Institute of Policy and Governance (SIPG), North South University (NSU), and Office of External Affairs (OEA), NSU jointly organized a hybrid Ambassador Talk Series: Session 2 on 30th April 2023. H.E. Espen Rikter-Svendsen, Ambassador of Norway to Bangladesh graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker. 

The seminar was designed on the theme of 'peace' and the contribution of Norway to fostering global peace. The keynote speaker explained the principles of Norway in conducting diplomatic efforts to ensure peace in conflicting situations. He demonstrated some successful case studies where Norway brokered peace deals between conflicting parties. It was followed by a vibrant Q&A session featuring questions and comments regarding the challenges of peace diplomacy in the contemporary world. Mr. Nur Ahmed, Research Officer, represented BIMRAD in this distinguished program.
